What to know before you play
Palia Patch 0.206, Fall's Faire: Petals & Portraits, launched August 26, 2026. Its centerpiece is the first Civic Project: the whole community contributes materials to rebuild Kilima's docks and open a route toward the Royal Highlands. The same update adds Taylin friendship levels, the Path of the Great Sage, Player Titles, the Valhäst, Free Cam, storage tabs, character customization, and optional paid storage expansion.

What is live, paid, and still ahead
The Docks Civic Project is live and does not need to be activated in the Lunar Path. Contributions award Civic Project XP, while the shared total advances construction. The free Path of the Great Sage track is separate from its optional 1,975-Palia-Coin upgrade. Premium Storage is another optional purchase: each upgrade adds capacity, but it is not required to use the patch's free storage-category tabs.
Crossplay is also a current feature, not a roadmap promise. A linked Palia account carries the same progress and friends across supported platforms. Account linking deserves care because the support record says linked platform accounts cannot simply log out; unlinking requires Player Support.
The roadmap is different from a patch note. October's Frights & Delights and November's Hearty Homecoming are announced directions, while winter story and shared-housing work are farther out. These pages retain those labels so a future plan is not presented as a live mechanic.

Palia appeared at number 44 in an earlier Steam United States Top Sellers snapshot and stood at number 61 in the refreshed August 28 chart. Steam's official endpoints showed 6,613 concurrent players and 43,972 all-language reviews in the same dated review.
