The Docks uses shared community construction and a personal XP path; this reference explains what each contribution changes and what remains available later.
Start Palia's Civic Project: Docks by speaking with Ashura. Contribute Building Supplies and Donation Kits at the workbenches near the project or from your Home Plot. Every valid contribution helps the shared construction total and earns personal Civic Project XP. The project appears under the Lunar Path interface, but it does not need to be activated before you participate.
How the contribution loop works
- Speak with Ashura and follow the project introduction to Kilima's docks.
- Inspect a project workbench or use the corresponding contribution access from the Home Plot.
- Choose a Building Supply or Donation Kit whose listed requirements you can satisfy.
- Confirm the exact item and quantity before donating. Some kits request a matching collection, such as twelve of the same uncommon insect.
- Use the awarded Civic Project XP on the project's personal reward path while the community total advances the physical rebuild.
Donation Kits contribute one, two, or four points depending on the kit. A higher point value is not a blanket instruction to spend every rare material: the official record defines values and requirements, but it does not publish an economy-tested “best kit” after market prices, inventory goals, or future patch changes.
Shared progress versus personal XP
These are two connected counters with different consequences. Shared progress changes the Docks for the entire community. Personal XP unlocks the individual reward path, which includes decor recipes, Tailor Tickets, Treat Bags, Kilima Coins, Tints, Profile Icons, and the Valhäst among other rewards.
The docks eventually become a harbor and create a new route toward the Royal Highlands. You do not lose the personal reward path when that happens. Singularity 6 explicitly says Civic Project XP can continue to be earned after construction finishes.
Rewards with a deadline
Two titles are tied to contribution before shared completion:
- A first contributor title at ten points.
- A second contributor title at 400 points.
Those titles stop being obtainable after the Docks are complete. Other project progression remains available. This is the practical reason to contribute early even if you do not plan to finish the entire personal path immediately.
The Valhäst unlocks at project level 45. Once placed on a ranch, it produces arrows. Riding one also improves party turn rate. Those are the official effects; this page does not assign a value ranking against other mounts.
