Palia Patch 0.206 went live on August 26, 2026. The headline addition is Civic Project: Docks, but this is a broad systems update rather than one event: it adds Taylin friendship, a new Lunar Path, Player Titles, the Valhäst, Free Cam, storage organization, new home decor, customization options, and several quality-of-life changes.

Docks, rewards, and the Royal Highlands route
Speak with Ashura to begin the Docks project. Building Supplies and Donation Kits can be contributed at project workbenches or from a Home Plot. Kits are worth one, two, or four contribution points, and some ask for exact collections rather than interchangeable materials. Personal contributions also produce Civic Project XP for the reward path.
The community's shared progress changes the construction site. Completion opens a new harbor route toward the Royal Highlands, but it does not close personal progression: the patch notes say players can continue earning Civic Project XP after the docks are rebuilt. Two contributor titles are different because they require ten and 400 points before shared completion.
Characters, customization, and quality of life
Taylin arrives with friendship levels one through four. Singularity 6 recommends reaching level four with Ulfe, Hassian, and Sifuu for the surrounding story context. Patch 0.206 does not make Taylin or Sifuu romance available; the roadmap describes that as future work.
The update also introduces 38 eyebrow choices and three eyelash choices without a premium purchase. Player Titles can reflect achievements already completed, and Free Cam adds independent framing controls for Photo Mode. Storage category tabs make a large inventory easier to scan even if no Premium Storage upgrade is bought.
