A useful mobile-games topic needs two things at once: genuine discovery beyond the site's old inventory and enough verified detail to make a download or support decision. This August edition adds Aniimo, whose iOS and Android release follows PC and console by one week, and Pokémon TCG Pocket, a mass-market card app with an active expansion window and exact account, trading, subscription, and device questions. It also includes Fortnite, two current United States App Store leaders, an Android interactive-story product, and smaller games with distinct session types.
This is not a raw download chart. Store ranks move quickly, regional storefronts differ, and large install counts do not prove that a game fits every player. The selection separates current reach from guide value, records the check date, and links every title to a permanent game dossier.

Pokémon TCG Pocket — large reach, live changes, exact account risks
Google Play showed more than 50 million downloads and about 1.78 million reviews during the August check. Apple's United States listing showed roughly 671,000 ratings and an Editors' Choice label. Those are significantly broader discovery signals than the site's previous mobile additions, but scale alone is not the editorial reason for adding six pages.
The Pokémon TCG Pocket hub answers five separable needs: the announced Team Rocket's Ambition release time, current trading rules, safe save transfer, Premium Pass ownership and cancellation, and device requirements. It does not publish an expansion tier list before the cards are live.
Fortnite — mainstream reach with exact support answers
Fortnite enters this collection because current Google demand is visible and the resulting questions have official answers. “Fortnite server status” exceeded 20,000 US searches during a roughly 1,000% Trending Now spike on August 23. Google suggestions also included Fortnite mobile download, Android, iOS and voice-chat problems.
Use Epic's official download path for supported mobile devices; do not substitute an APK mirror. If the app opens but login, matchmaking or parties fail, check Fortnite server status. If the problem is audio, the voice chat page separates Party Channel, Game Channel, account permissions and device settings. These are mobile-relevant answers backed by Epic support, not generic gameplay filler.
The current chart leaders
Block Out — route before you move
Block Out held the number-one position on Apple's US games chart during the August 21 check, and Apple's lookup service reported roughly 189,000 US ratings. Those numbers establish real current reach. The reason it belongs in a guide library is more specific: its official description names matching doors, moving elevators, block generators, dynamic layouts, and offline play.
The former routing page was withdrawn because the store description alone could not prove a reliable solution process. The Block Out overview now limits itself to verified platform, version and feature facts until current board evidence supports an exact answer.
Smash Fest — large iOS reach, changed Android status
Smash Fest was number two on the same US chart. Apple's live lookup data had risen to 358,789 US ratings by August 26, while version 575 remained free and required iOS 15 or later. The previously cited Google Play package URL now returns 404, so the topic no longer presents the old Android download total as current fact.
The Smash Fest download status gives the current US iPhone/iPad route and states the Android boundary directly. The old angle-and-power page went beyond what the official listing proved and remains withdrawn. The overview explains the product-described angle, power, timing, jars, stones, and chain reactions without presenting store copy as a tested level guide.
The large Android discovery signal
OOC — a living story, not a fixed walkthrough
OOC's official Google Play listing showed more than 500,000 downloads and a number-two top-free simulation position. Its July update introduced Dice of Fate: A Reverse Isekai, described as the platform's first AIRPG. Players become a Constellation, watch or intervene in a survivor's path, encounter hidden races and classes, and respond to dice-influenced outcomes.
Because generated stories can differ, the withdrawn Dice of Fate page could not promise a reproducible route from product copy. The OOC overview now identifies the mode, platforms and published systems while leaving generated outcomes unclaimed.
The 2026 mobile standout
Gumslinger 2 — use the arena
Gumslinger 2 released in January and is verified on both major mobile stores. Google Play showed more than 50,000 downloads, Apple showed more than 1,000 US ratings, and Pocket Gamer included it among its highest-rated current mobile releases. The developer documents 12 worlds, more than 150 collectible characters, guns, and hats, 50 bullets, and six Legendary bullets.
The collection size is not a beginner answer. The Gumslinger 2 overview records the official worlds, characters, bullets and platforms. The earlier environment-and-upgrade page was removed because those facts did not establish a tested decision sequence.
Four smaller games that keep the topic useful
5 Seconds of Light turns visibility into a limited resource. Its official listing separates a continuing Levels climb from five fixed Speed Run towers. Its hub now presents only those verified systems; the unsupported perk strategy page has been withdrawn.
Infinite Loot-Loop covers the opposite session type: a progression system that continues around offline rewards, equipment, classes, and rebirth. It belongs because mobile discovery should not mean only short puzzle sessions, and its answer page gives a conservative upgrade order without inventing exact rates.
Grimoria adds competitive deckbuilding. Current card text and balance matter more than a permanent tier list, so the current page stays an overview until a live-build match record can support deeper advice.
Textagons adds a daily word puzzle. Its overview verifies the six-word loop, archive and shareable results. A claimed solve process needs direct puzzle evidence, so the previous strategy page is no longer linked.
How this page stays current
The four discovery numbers—rank, ratings, downloads, and editorial inclusion—are dated evidence, not permanent labels. Every game's hub records platforms and an update boundary. A title can move out of a chart without losing its URL, and it can remain in the collection if the focused answer is still useful. New additions must bring either current market evidence or a distinct mobile problem, and they still need official sources plus an indexable answer before appearing here.

TOPIC FAQ
How to use this collection
Are these simply the most downloaded mobile games?
No. The collection combines measurable current discovery with distinctive games that support a verified, useful answer. Chart position alone is not enough.
Why are some games iOS-only or Android-only here?
A platform is shown only when an official current store or developer source verifies it. The topic does not infer a port from another version.
How often can this mobile collection change?
Demand labels can change whenever the evidence is rechecked, while every game's permanent URL remains stable and its version boundary is updated separately.
