Suncraft Pillar Puzzle — Exact Laboratory Placement

FAST ANSWER

The laboratory pillars use four specific items in fixed corners; this spoiler-marked answer gives the complete placement.

For the Suncraft laboratory pillar puzzle, place Magma in the top-left, Gold Bar in the top-right, Glass in the bottom-left, and Grape in the bottom-right. Read the positions from the front of the four-slot laboratory panel.

Use the layout in the correct orientation

Face the panel so its two upper and two lower positions form the same square shown in the interface. Place the upper pair first, then the lower pair. This reduces the chance of swapping left and right after rotating the camera.

The current answer comes from a Steam Community solution to a player blocked on the laboratory pillars. It is not a generic crafting recipe: each material belongs to a position. If your screen has more than four slots, different labels, or a panel outside the laboratory, stop rather than forcing this arrangement into a different puzzle.

If you are missing an item

Confirm the exact item names in your inventory before substituting something visually similar. Magma and Glass are different requirements; Gold Bar is not an unprocessed ore; Grape is the named fruit. The source verifies the final placement but does not establish a universal fastest farming route for every ingredient, so this page does not invent one.

Return to the active villager objective and the unlocked biome or workstation if one item has not appeared in your progression. Use the Suncraft walkthrough for the broader sequence and preserve a save before consuming or moving scarce materials.

Achievement check

Steam describes Riddle Master as solving the book, torch, and pillar riddles. Once this panel reacts, finish the Suncraft book riddle and Suncraft torch puzzle if needed.
