AT A GLANCE

EA says there is no New Game Plus at launch, no post-launch content announcement, no current microtransaction plan, and no planned official mod support.

Star Wars Zero Company does not have New Game Plus at launch. EA has not announced DLC or other post-launch content, says it has no current plans for microtransactions, and says official mod support is not planned.

The exact wording matters. “Nothing announced” is not the same statement as “never,” while “not at launch” leaves room for a later change. This page records the August 28 launch status and will change only when EA publishes a new position.

FeatureCurrent official answerWhat not to infer
New Game PlusNot available at launchDo not call ordinary replay a formal NG+ mode
Later-playthrough unlocksSome customization options unlockEA does not describe a full carry-over system
DLC / expansionNothing announcedThis is not a permanent cancellation statement
MicrotransactionsNo current plansThe Deluxe Edition's cosmetics are edition content, not proof of an in-game store
Official mod supportNot plannedThis does not verify or endorse unofficial modifications

What carries into another playthrough?

EA says players will unlock certain customization options on subsequent playthroughs. It does not call that New Game Plus and does not publish a complete carry-over table for levels, weapons, relationships, campaign decisions, or resources.

The safe interpretation is simple: a second campaign can expose some additional customization, but you should not start one expecting a formal NG+ ruleset unless EA adds and documents that mode.

DLC and post-launch plans

EA says the team focused on the launch game and has nothing to announce about DLC or post-launch content. That is the current public boundary. It does not confirm an expansion, season pass, roadmap, or free content schedule.

If a store listing, social post, or retailer page claims a future expansion, compare it with EA's own news and FAQ before treating it as confirmed. The Deluxe Edition includes named cosmetic packs and painted weapon themes; those launch-edition items are already documented and should not be relabeled as an announced DLC roadmap.

Microtransactions and mods

The official FAQ says there are no plans for additional monetization or microtransactions at this time. That makes the launch answer “no current plan,” not an unlimited guarantee about every future business decision.

EA also says no official mod support is planned. On PC, an unofficial file or tool does not become supported because it works for one player. Back up saves and check the platform's terms before changing game files; this page does not recommend an unofficial mod loader.
