- Complete the Day 30 shift and continue through the entire cutscene.
- Follow the Shift Map tutorial when the interface opens automatically.
- Choose one of the available earlier outcomes the tutorial allows you to manipulate.
- Continue from that altered branch instead of replaying the same choice unchanged.
- Use the new outcome to advance the investigation into the BSODeaD hacker group.
The Shift Map is therefore not a conventional next-day selector. It changes the timeline after the first 30-day route. Visitor queues can vary, so the useful target is the decision outcome shown on the map rather than another walkthrough author's exact visitor order or earnings.
What “start fresh from the branch” means
The instruction to start again from a branch means that progression has changed from consecutive shifts to alternate outcomes. Repeating every previous choice would leave that branch unchanged; the tutorial is asking you to alter an available decision and follow the result.
