An official MyCAREER article published August 18 says early access begins August 26 at 9:00 AM PT. That date conflicts with the current 2K Store purchase terms and 2K's cover-athlete announcement, both of which say August 28. It appears to be older or inconsistent copy, but 2K has not published a correction on that article.
Use August 28 for planning because it is the date shown where 2K currently sells the access benefit. If the date is the reason you are paying more, check the timer and edition description on your own PS5, Xbox, or Steam storefront before checkout and keep the receipt. “Up to seven days” is not a guarantee of seven complete 24-hour periods in every region.
