The Mound supports one-player solo play and online co-op for two to four players. Crossplay exists, but the precise claim should stay tied to current evidence: patch 1.01 added a crossplay friend finder, and Xbox explicitly lists Xbox cross-platform co-op.

The checked official sources do not publish one complete PS5–Xbox–Steam–Epic compatibility matrix. That means it would be careless to promise every storefront pair solely from the word “crossplay.” If a mixed-platform group is buying together, verify the current in-game friend finder for the exact pair before each player purchases.
