Version 1.0 separates six objective-driven Scenario locations from three wave-based Survival maps and adds Solo practice without creating a story campaign.
No More Room in Hell 2 version 1.0 has Scenario, Survival, and Solo play. Scenario is the objective-led co-op structure, Survival focuses on holding out against waves before extraction, and Solo lets one player learn the maps without an online team.
| Mode | Released scope |
|---|---|
| Scenario | Six objective locations across the northeastern United States |
| Survival | Flooded, Night of the Living Dead, and Lighthouse |
| Solo | Independent map practice and Weekly Assignment progress |
Armageddon added Raven Rock as the sixth Scenario map and completed the published 1.0 objective set. Survival's three locations use a different pressure curve: the team survives waves and then extracts rather than following the same distributed objective structure.
Online sessions support two to eight players. Responders can begin apart and must locate one another while managing scarce resources and proximity communication. That design means “eight-player” does not guarantee eight people standing together at spawn, and a Solo session should not be read as a separate authored story campaign.
The 1.0 package also adds a tutorial, achievements, Weekly Assignments, Credits and Merits, customization, and the Rescue Beacon. This page does not publish universal map routes or loot locations because live hotfixes and procedural/resource behavior require route-level reproduction. It establishes which mode and named map a player should select before using a version-specific walkthrough.
