Current help for Ledgerbound
If the calendar and burnout are making the campaign less enjoyable, open the difficulty settings and look for the option that reduces time-management gameplay. Official Patch #2 says it makes burnout and time costs much less punishing. Patch #3 extends that behavior by removing burnout costs from equipping swag and liabilities while time management is disabled.

What the current patches change
Patch #2 added the reduced time-management setting. Patch #3 extended it so equipping swag and liabilities no longer costs burnout when time management is disabled. Patch #4 says replaying a battle can carry a burnout cost and corrected relationship scenes that were triggering too early. Those changes make launch-day schedules and relationship timing version-sensitive.
