Crimson Desert Patch 2.00.00 — Skills, Reset, and Carry-Over

WHAT CHANGED

The Enhanced patch changes story presentation and character progression, including skill refunds and a completed-story currency and Abyss Link carry-over option.

Crimson Desert version 2.00.00 changes both what players see and how Kliff develops. The patch adds story moments and cutscenes, expands context around bosses, introduces eight Kliff skills, and revises skill learning and resetting. It is therefore worth checking refunded resources before recreating an old build.

The official notes identify these progression areas:

• eight additional skills for Kliff;
• changed rules for learning and resetting skills;
• refunds where prior progression is affected;
• changes involving Abyss Links;
• an option to carry selected currencies and Abyss Links after completing the story.

“Carry-over” should not be expanded into an unsupported claim that every item, quest, collectible, or world state transfers. Pearl Abyss names currencies and Abyss Links, so those are the reliable boundary until a fuller New Game Plus specification is published.

Returning players should launch the updated save, inspect the available currency and skill state, and only then spend refunds. A pre-2.00 build guide may use a skill tree or acquisition path that no longer matches the current game. New players can continue normally; the patch does not require importing a completed save to access the revised campaign.

The same update also expands language coverage with five voice languages and Arabic interface and subtitles. Those presentation changes are part of Enhanced, but they do not alter save ownership or create a second campaign product.
