How the game plays
The story takes place fifteen years before A Plague Tale and follows Sophia to Minotaur's Island. Sophia uses close combat, parries, a grapple, exploration, and a stolen sphere that manipulates light in environmental puzzles. The story shifts between her medieval period and ancient Minoan times.
Exact parry timing, puzzle routes, upgrade strength, and performance outside the published PC targets remain unknown before release. Steam does publish concrete targets: minimum aims at 1080p/30 on Low, while recommended aims at 1080p/60 on Ultra.
Buying boundary
Steam listed $49.99 in the US on August 25. The Heritage Pack is attached to eligible preorders and contains three named items; it is not described as a story expansion. Game Pass provides subscription access in Microsoft's ecosystem, while PlayStation and Steam purchases remain separate.
