The 2026 mode set adds more ProPLAY animations, enhanced Rhythm Shooting, post shots, layup packages, an intermediate Learn2K tier, MyTEAM Animation Breakers and Game Changer cards, MyPLAYER Build Specialization, a new MyCAREER story, and MyGM Sandbox and Offseason Scenario styles.
Steam identifies Play Now, MyNBA, and The W as offline-capable. Other modes and many features need an internet connection and may require account registration. Offline capability does not mean every live roster, reward, or online feature is available without a connection.
