Madden NFL 27 Crossplay — Modes, Progression, and MUT Auction

PC, PS5, and Xbox Series players share supported online modes and leaderboards; Superstar progression crosses those platforms, while the MUT Auction House does not.

Madden NFL 27 supports crossplay between PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It works in Online Head-to-Head, cloud Franchise, Madden Ultimate Team, and Superstar. Nintendo Switch 2 is not part of EA's crossplay pool.

Crossplay is enabled by default on the three supported platforms. PS5 and PC players can change it in the in-game settings. Xbox players use the console's system-level cross-network setting.

To invite a friend, open EA Connect from the main menu, choose Player Search, and search for the person's EA ID, Xbox gamertag, or PlayStation Network ID. Both players need current game updates, an EA account, and an internet connection.

Cloud Franchise crossplay can be enabled in a new or existing league. EA recommends starting a new file because the feature remains in live beta and may be temporarily affected by maintenance or title updates.

Crossplay does not mean every item or save is universal. EA specifically confirms shared Superstar Avatar progression and gear purchases. It does not describe full Franchise-save transfer, and the MUT Auction House remains platform-specific.
