What to know before you play
Halo: Campaign Evolved is a released remake of the original Halo campaign, available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC. It supports four-player online crossplay, two-player console split-screen, 13 campaign missions, 42 Skulls, Campaign Remix, and three new Operation Meteorite missions.

What is different from Halo: Combat Evolved?
This is not the 2001 PC executable with a new store page. Halo Studios describes rebuilt visuals, enhanced cinematics, refined systems, rebuilt sound, new weapons and vehicles, 42 gameplay-modifying Skulls, and three additional missions set before the original campaign. Advice written for the older game can therefore be useful for story context but cannot automatically prove a collectible location or completion trigger in this remake.
The base game contains the campaign, Operation Meteorite missions, online co-op, console split-screen, Campaign Remix, LASO, Skulls, and Terminals. Premium purchases add cosmetics and digital reading material; they do not unlock a separate set of core campaign missions.
Current buying boundary
Steam and Halo Support list a $49.99 Standard Edition and a $69.99 Premium Edition in the United States. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass include Standard access. The $20 Premium upgrade does not contain the base game and stops being usable if a Game Pass subscription expires unless the player buys the game or renews an eligible plan.
