FIRST CHECK

A post-launch input and settings reference that separates current full controller support from the developer's ongoing Steam Deck optimization work.

Fell & Sell now has full controller support. The August 28 update also adds complete key rebinding, QuickSlot input icons, auto-pickup, a working shadow-setting refresh, an SSAO toggle, and disabled motion blur. The developer describes the result as more Steam Deck-friendly while promising additional optimization, not as a final performance certification.

What changed after launch

Setting or inputCurrent behavior
ControllerFull support added
Keyboard bindingsEvery key can be rebound
QuickSlotsInput icons shown in the UI
Loot pickupOptional auto-pickup added
Field of viewAdjustable down to 40 after the 1.0.1/1.0.2 fixes
SSAODedicated toggle added
ShadowsChanges now apply immediately
Motion blurDisabled by the update

If a controller was tested on the release-day build, update before diagnosing it as unsupported. The launch post originally warned that gamepad implementation needed another day or two; the August 28 patch supersedes that warning.

Steam Deck boundary

Art Games Studio says full controller support makes Fell & Sell much more Steam Deck-friendly and that further optimization will continue. Steam's product page also lists full controller support, but the checked records do not provide a fixed Deck frame rate, battery estimate, graphics preset, or Valve Verified badge.

The checked update does not publish a Deck frame-rate target or a device-specific troubleshooting sequence. A current-build input failure therefore belongs in the developer's Steam discussion channel with the input device and build identified; one community performance report is not a universal hardware result.

QUICK ANSWERS

Questions players ask next

Does Fell & Sell support controllers?

Yes. Full controller support went live in the August 28 post-launch update.

Can I rebind Fell & Sell controls?

Yes. The same update adds full key rebinding and input icons above QuickSlots.

Is Fell & Sell Steam Deck Verified?

The developer calls the update more Steam Deck-friendly and says further optimization is planned; that is not the same as a Verified badge or tested performance guarantee.
