The current Early Access product supports one to four players through Steam; no second platform, console edition, split-screen, crossplay, or Game Pass release is announced.
Far Far West supports solo play and online co-op for up to four players on Windows PC. Steam is the only released platform in the current Early Access record, so PC friends can form a crew while a single player can run the same core mission loop independently.
| Feature | Current status |
|---|---|
| Single-player | Supported |
| Online co-op | Supported, up to four players |
| Local or split-screen co-op | Not listed |
| Crossplay | No second supported platform exists |
| PS5 / Xbox / Switch | Not announced in checked official sources |
| Game Pass | Not announced |
Crossplay is not the same question as online co-op. The Steam edition can connect PC players to one another, but there is currently no official console product with which it could form a cross-platform pool. Search suggestions and community requests do not establish a port.
The Early Access description says the game already contains its core loop, co-op, character customization, weapons, and side missions. Frostburn materially changes currencies, weapons, maps, and combat options for the same one-to-four-player format. Players joining friends should update to the same hotfix and avoid comparing build behavior across pre-0.2 footage.
There is also no official split-screen field. Buying multiple controllers does not create couch co-op in a product that only lists online co-op. If Hyperstrange later announces another platform, crossplay, account progression, and subscription access must each be verified separately rather than assumed together.
