AT A GLANCE

Jun can be male or female with a customized look and gear; Paladin and Immortal alignments describe virtue and ambition rather than a simple good-or-evil switch.

Jun Aslan can be customized as a male or female Traveler. The official extended gameplay reveal also confirms choices for appearance and gear. Jun remains the named protagonist—a salvager from Lidon who becomes a Traveler—rather than a completely unrelated custom origin.

Paladin and Immortal alignments

Archetype describes two morality paths:

  • Paladin: the path of virtue, prioritizing other people even when that choice costs Jun.
  • Immortal: the path of ambition, taking power and opportunity when doing so serves Jun's goals.

These are not presented as a universal “good ending” and “bad ending” selector. The developer explicitly says some choices are morally gray, with no obvious answer.

Choices persist across time

Decisions affect companions and the galaxy, while time dilation can make consequences appear years or decades later for people Jun left behind. Returning home does not provide a rewind button. Jun may respond to what changed, but the original choice and elapsed time cannot simply be undone.

That makes pre-release “best choices” pages unreliable. The official reveal demonstrates a decision involving a companion, but it does not publish all outcomes, approval values, romance gates, ending requirements, or how the two alignments are calculated.
