World Tour adds a story campaign for Axel across five cities and keeps the classic time-limited passenger-and-cash loop in a separate Arcade Mode.

Crazy Taxi: World Tour adds a story-driven campaign starring Axel across five cities. A mysterious international organization steals his taxi, and the trip to recover it connects passenger work, extreme missions, side jobs, characters, vehicles, and customization.

SEGA calls this the series' first story mode. The public material names Axel and the stolen taxi, but it does not provide enough information for a chapter list, walkthrough, character guide, or ending explanation.

Five cities does not mean five complete maps are known

Official descriptions confirm different terrain and driving challenges across five cities. Screenshots show multiple coastal and urban environments, but images alone cannot establish official city names, open-world boundaries, fast travel, map sizes, or how travel between cities works.

This page will use names only when SEGA attaches them to a city. Visual resemblance to a real city is not sufficient evidence.

Arcade Mode is separate from the story campaign

Arcade Mode returns the original timed objective: deliver as many passengers as possible and earn the most money before time expires. It is a modernized version of the classic loop, not proof that every original map, license, driver, song, or technique returns unchanged.

The September network test contains multiplayer only. SEGA and Steam say single-player and story mode are unavailable in that test, so beta footage cannot be treated as a full campaign preview.
