Castlevania: Belmont's Curse releases October 15, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, Steam, and Nintendo Switch. Steam lists Standard at $29.99. It is a 2D action-exploration game developed by Konami, Evil Empire, and Motion Twin.

What it is
The story takes place in Paris in 1499, twenty-three years after Castlevania III. Rose Belmont, daughter of Trevor Belmont, carries the Vampire Killer into burning streets and Dracula's castle. Konami says she can use seven weapon categories and relics while opening routes through an interconnected world.
The official August 24 cast announcement names Abby Trott as Rose and Graham McTavish as Dracula. It also confirms returning or named performers for Trevor, Sypha, Isaac, Joan of Arc, Medusa, Carmilla, Death, and others. A cast announcement supports character identity, not a complete account of who survives or becomes a boss.
Platform differences that matter
Konami lists 60 FPS for the non-Switch versions and 30 FPS for Nintendo Switch. Standard storage is listed at 8 GB on the other platforms and 4 GB on Switch; Midnight is 10 GB and 6 GB respectively. Those are official product figures, not measured image-quality comparisons.
Standard contains the base game. Midnight adds a digital sound and art gallery, Trevor and Sypha costumes, and the Family's Grace relic. An Alucard-style costume is tied to the announced preorder or early-purchase offer. No edition turns pre-release footage into evidence for a review or complete map.
