GAME INTRODUCTION
What to know before you play
BOMBANANA launches September 2, 2026 on Steam as a free-to-play online co-op puzzle game for exactly three players. The team is one blind monkey, one mute monkey, and one deaf monkey. Each person receives only part of the information needed to disarm a bomb before time runs out.
Pick the exact answer
- Release date, free price, Steam, demo, and platform status
- Why exactly three players are required and what each role can do
- Minimum and recommended PC requirements, RAM, and storage
The information split
The blind monkey can touch the bomb but cannot see colors or read displays. The mute monkey can read the disposal manual but cannot simply speak its instructions. The deaf monkey can see the bomb and teammates but cannot hear them. The puzzle is therefore not just finding a rule; it is moving the right observation from one role to the next through the channels the game leaves available.
Steam lists pointing, waving, gestures, voice chat, multiple bomb modules, and a level system that unlocks harder stages. It also states there is no single imposed communication method.
What waits for release
The demo was removed August 19 while Lefto Studio prepared the full game. Its former puzzles do not prove every retail module or solution. Player Guidebook will not publish module scripts, exact button sequences, level walkthroughs, or a review until the September 2 build can be reproduced with screenshots, role assignment, failure state, and version number.
