Is ANANTA Multiplayer? Single-Player, Online, and Controller Support

No multiplayer or co-op mode is announced for ANANTA; Steam lists single-player, while PS5 requires online access for one player.

ANANTA is currently a single-player game, not an announced multiplayer or co-op RPG. Steam supplies a single-player feature label. The US PlayStation Store says “1 online player” and “Online play required,” which describes one connected player—not an online party.

Why the city and crew do not prove multiplayer

ANANTA uses social language: build a crew, meet companions, become an influencer, and inhabit different characters. Those are game-world and character systems. None of the checked first-party pages describes another human joining the session.

The PS5 phrase “1 online player” can also be misread. It means the listed experience is network-connected and capped at one player. If NetEase later announces co-op or shared-world features, the player count and cross-platform questions must be rechecked rather than inferred from trailers.

Controller status

PlayStation identifies a PS5 version with DualSense vibration and trigger effects, plus PS5 Pro enhancement. Steam's product API lists DualShock and DualSense support with a partial-controller classification. That classification does not guarantee that every launcher, login, text-entry, or menu action works without a keyboard.

No official source currently publishes an Xbox-controller mapping, remapping menu, gyro option, mobile-controller policy, or accessibility control sheet. Those details remain launch-build questions.
